Pussy: A Reclamation by Regena Thomashauer

PUSSY: A RECLAMATION

Discover what no one taught you about the source of your feminine power, and how to use it.

"Required reading for every woman who longs to step into her power and live with pleasure and purpose." — Kris Carr, New York Times best-selling author

Author, educator, and School of Womanly Arts founder Regena Thomashauer has been working with women for the past 25 years, and what began as just a few women in her living room has since grown into a global movement with thousands of graduates worldwide.

In her New York Times bestseller Pussy: A Reclamation, she reveals what no one taught you about the source of your feminine power and how to use it. This power is the part of a woman that she has been taught to ignore, push down, and despise. Indeed, the word that most viscerally sums it up is "arguably the most powerful pejorative word in the English language."

Like any expletive used effectively, the title of this book is meant to be a wake-up call. It is a reclamation, in a world that desperately requires the feminine. Readers learn the secret ingredient every woman is missing; how to crack the confidence code; what’s ahead on the next frontier of feminism—and how they can help make it happen; and much more.

By turns earthy and erudite, passionately argued and laugh-out-loud funny, Pussy delivers the tools and practices a woman requires to do and be whatever she wants in this life. It’s a call for her to tune in, turn on, and not drop out—but live more richly, fully, and lusciously than she ever thought she could.

Meet Regena Thomashauer

Regena Thomashauer — the one and only “Mama Gena” — is a teacher and best-selling author, mother and media personality, and founder and CEO of the School of Womanly Arts, which began in her living room in 1998 and has since grown into a global movement.

Regena believes that women are the greatest untapped natural resource on the planet, and that as people of all genders reclaim the magnificence of the feminine, the patriarchy will fall away, liberating us all.

She’s dedicated her work to women, specifically, because Regena knows Woman. And while Woman is an expansive concept (there are so many ways to be a woman), those of us who identify as women are connected through a common global experience of oppression. We are living in a culture that shames our bodies, rebukes our emotionality, fears our sexuality, violates our safety, and makes us wrong for having feminine aspects, for being women at all.

“I am devoted to raising women up to feel comfortable, strong and powerful in their bodies and souls. I am devoted to banishing shame and replacing it it with irrepressible pride and joy. I am devoted to teaching women to reconnect with turn-on and to release their fire, their outrageous outrage, their unstoppable love, their enthusiasm, their eros. I am devoted to women.” — Regena Thomashauer

A MESSAGE FROM REGENA

My new book, Pussy: A Reclamation, provides a pathway for us as women to step out of victimhood and into our inherent radiance. Consider this book your roadmap to get unstuck, empowered, and turned on.

I wrote this book to reacquaint a woman with that part of herself that is the key to everything she has ever been looking for but has been taught to ignore, push down, and despise.

Now, I know the title is provocative. Straight up offensive to some. Indeed, Pussy is arguably the most pejorative word in the English language. And like any exploitive used effectively, this book is meant to be a wake up call. It is a reclamation, in a world that desperately requires the feminine.

For the past 25 years, I have been teaching and working with women across the globe, through my company The School of Womanly Arts. What started as six women in my living room has grown into a global movement, with thousands of graduates worldwide.

This book has been brewing in me for the past decade, and it’s finally here—it is the culmination of my life’s work, and it contains the teachings and practices that I’ve seen change thousands of lives inside the School of Womanly Arts classroom.

IN THIS BOOK, YOU’LL LEARN:

  • Key practices required to seek and speak your deepest truth, no matter what
  • How to embody radical self-celebration, and why it will change your life
  • How to end the war with your body—and rather, see it for what it is: beautiful, sacred, powerful and so, so worthy of approval
  • Why a woman’s sensual awareness is critical for her spiritual, intellectual, and emotional health
  • What’s ahead on the next frontier of feminism—and how you can help make it happen
  • And much, much more

Pussy provides a whole new paradigm for how to operate, along with game-changing tools and practices to navigate any area of your life – relationships, career, body, confidence, sensuality, and more.

It’s a reclamation of what has always been your birthright as a woman.

Because Your voice needs to be heard.

Because it’s time for you to live your truth, no matter what.

Because Your desires and your dreams want to be lived, in this lifetime.

Pussy is your call to tune in, turn on, and live more richly and fully than you ever thought you could.

The journey starts here.
