Activated Charcoal// Treated with oxygen to more effectively bind with toxins (hence why it is called “activated” charcoal!). When applied topically, activated charcoal sticks to and pulls out dirt, oil and impurities, providing a deep clean that purifies the skin.
Tea Tree essential oil // Shown to have antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, and immune stimulating properties. Studies have shown that topical application of Tea Tree essential oil may help alleviate acne by killing the bacteria that causes breakouts. How to Use
Wet hands and massage the Activated Charcoal + Dead Sea Salt Soap until a rich, creamy lather forms. Massage the foam into wet skin to gently remove dirt, makeup, SPF, and any other signs of the day. Rinse with warm water or use a warm towelette to remove stubborn makeup.
We love multi-tasking skincare products because they keep our skincare routine simple and help reduce our environmental footprint - although formulated specifically as a facial cleanser, this soap is effective head-to-toe. Great as a face, body and hand soap - some customers have even reported it works great as a shampoo bar!
Pro Tip: When it comes to blackheads and breakouts, it's often believed that drying or scrubbing skin "squeaky clean" will help clear skin. Drying the skin can actually do the opposite - it can cause skin barrier damage and aggravate the issue. The best way to address congestion and breakouts is through nourishment that promotes healthy skin without clogging pores or decimating the skin microbiome. This soap will not dry the skin like conventional bar soap and is a great start to a nourishing routine. If your skin has a tendency to be dry or sensitive, we recommend only using this soap as an evening cleanser.
One full size bar can last about 3 months if kept dry in between use and if used by one person for cleansing their face daily. To extend the life of your bar, we recommend storing your bar on a soap dish, that prevents the bar from sitting in water and allows the bar to air dry in between use.
How to Recycle
Long lasting and plastic-free to lower your carbon footprint, your soap will come packaged in a recyclable paper box made from 80% post-consumer recycled paper as well as FSC certified paper. This box contains zero adhesive, and was printed using non-toxic vegetable dyes and 100% windpower.
